From Redwood Community Action Agency:

Staff needed immediately for exciting new Pilot Program serving homeless persons, with the primary goal of using the “Housing First” and “Rapid Re-housing” models. The program has been up and running since July 1st. This is a great opportunity for Social Work, Psych. or related field of study students to gain experience working in their chosen professions. You will have the opportunity to work with clients presenting mental health issues, socio-economic challenges, and various issues that affect the client’s ability to find and retain suitable housing.

For a complete job description, requirements, employment application and more information on the program contact Redwood Community Action Agency at www.rcaa.org or stop in at 904 G Street, Eureka.

We offer flexible scheduling: fulltime 40/hrs. weekly; part-time shifts which can be either 8 hours for 1-5 shifts weekly or ½ time shifts. We are a 24 hour/7 day a week operation so there are morning, swing and overnight shifts available. The clients we serve live in our facility. We also have a fully staffed kitchen serving three nutritious meals a day and employees are welcome.
